The genome sequence of the Speckled Yellow, <i>Pseudopanthera macularia</i> (Linnaeus, 1758) (Lepidoptera: Geometridae)

We present a genome assembly from a female specimen of <i>Pseudopanthera macularia</i> (Speckled Yellow; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Geometridae). The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 717.87 megabases and 650.90 megabases. Most of haplotype 1 (99.61%) is scaffolded into 32 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the W and Z sex chromosomes. Haplotype 2 was assembled to scaffold level. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 15.61 kilobases.
