The genome sequence of the solitary wasp, <i>Cerceris ruficornis</i> (Fabricius, 1793)

We present a genome assembly from a female specimen of <i>Cerceris ruficornis</i> (solitary wasp; Arthropoda; Insecta; Hymenoptera; Crabronidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 566.08 megabases, of which 65.35% is scaffolded into 14 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 18.07 kilobases. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 11,093 protein-coding genes.
