Abstract

We present a genome assembly from a female specimen of Andrena praecox (Small Sallow Mining Bee; Arthropoda; Insecta; Hymenoptera; Andrenidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 563.05 megabases. The assembly is scaffolded into 7 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 20.36 kilobases. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 12,005 protein-coding genes.
