The genome sequence of the Scarce Hook-tip, Sabra harpagula (Esper, 1786) (Lepidoptera: Drepanidae)
Abstract
We present a genome assembly from an individual male Sabra harpagula (Scarce Hook-tip; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Drepanidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 377.24 megabases. Most of the assembly (99.98%) is scaffolded into 31 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 15.78 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
