The genome sequence of the Regal Piercer, <i>Pammene regiana</i> (Zeller, 1849) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae)
Abstract
We present a genome assembly from an individual female <i>Pammene regiana</i> (Regal Piercer; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Tortricidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 863.59 megabases. Most of the assembly (99.44%) is scaffolded into 29 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the W and Z sex chromosomes. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 16.5 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces genome assemblies for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
