The genome sequence of the Purple-shot Copper, Lycaena alciphron (von Rottemburg, 1775) (Lepidoptera: Lycaenidae)
Abstract
We present a genome assembly from a female specimen of Lycaena alciphron (Purple-shot Copper; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Lycaenidae). The assembly contains two haplotypes with total lengths of 497.93 megabases and 461.30 megabases. Most of haplotype 1 (99.62%) is scaffolded into 25 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the W and Z sex chromosomes. Haplotype 2 was assembled to scaffold level. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 15.32 kilobases.
