The genome sequence of the Poplar Cosmet moth, <i>Batrachedra praeangusta</i> (Haworth, 1828)

We present a genome assembly from a female specimen of <i>Batrachedra praeangusta</i> (Poplar Cosmet; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Batrachedridae). The genome sequence has a total length of 486.93 megabases. Most of the assembly (99.67%) is scaffolded into 29 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 15.21 kilobases.
