Abstract

We present a genome assembly from a specimen of <i>Asellus aquaticus</i> (pond louse; Arthropoda; Malacostraca; Isopoda; Asellidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 1,977.80 megabases. Most of the assembly (93.57%) is scaffolded into 8 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has a length of 16.53 kilobases.
