The genome sequence of the mirid plant bug, <i>Closterotomus trivialis</i> (A.Costa, 1853) (Hemiptera: Miridae)

Abstract

We present a genome assembly from an individual <i>Closterotomus trivialis</i> (mirid plant bug; Arthropoda; Insecta; Hemiptera; Miridae). The genome sequence has a total length of 1 163.70 megabases. Most of the assembly (94.03%) is scaffolded into 16 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 19.42 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces reference genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
