Abstract

We present a genome assembly from an adult female Choneiulus palmatus (Millipede; Arthropoda; Diplopoda; Julida; Blaniulidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 626.52 megabases. Most of the assembly (92.77%) is scaffolded into 14 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with lengths of 10.2 and 9.65 kilobases. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces reference genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
