The genome sequence of the European mistletoe, <i>Viscum album</i> L. (Santalales: Viscaceae)
Abstract
We present a genome assembly from a female specimen of <i>Viscum album</i> (European mistletoe; Streptophyta; Magnoliopsida; Santalales; Viscaceae). The genome sequence has a total length of 94 261.04 megabases. Most of the assembly (98.67%) is scaffolded into 49 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the B 1 chromosome. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces reference genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
