The genome sequence of a springtail, <i>Orchesella flavescens</i> (C.Bourlet, 1839)

We present a genome assembly from a specimen of <i>Orchesella flavescens</i> (springtail; Arthropoda; Collembola; Entomobryomorpha; Orchesellidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 273.69 megabases. Most of the assembly (99.88%) is scaffolded into 6 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 14.92 kilobases in length.
