Abstract

We present a genome assembly from a female specimen of <i>Aphodius granarius</i> (dung beetle; Arthropoda; Insecta; Coleoptera; Scarabaeidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 397.20 megabases. The assembly is scaffolded into 10 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 22.13 kilobases.
